8.1

Start of the timer

• 1. Wait until all internal IO drivers and the ProfiNet field bus are running.
• 2. Supply MGDM with voltage. (optocoupler)

set and thus the optocoupler to the MGDM is enabled.
If the control mode is set to "PRI7000 user interface" (manual

• 3. Load gun data:
The gun data of the tong number present at the IO field are
•
loaded. (Service program xx03_LoadGunData).
If no gun number is present (gun number = 0), the start
•
sequence is terminated.
In this case, a point selection > 0 would lead to a point selection
•
error, since there is no assignment to a gun. (Error 31023
"Activated channel and spot channel different").
If the control mode is set to theb "PRI7000 user interface"
•
(manual mode), the start sequence is terminated at this point.
• 4. Activate gun:
It is checked whether the input bit "Controller enable off" is set.
•
If the condition is fulfilled, the gun is activated (service program
•
xx01_Activate-Gun).
If a condition is not fulfilled, the start sequence is terminated.
•
The gun changes to the 7th axis operation when the positioning
•
authority is switched off. If a validly set position setpoint is
present which deviates from the actual position by > 5mm, the
error message "Position setpoint difference" may occur if the
position setpoint monitoring is activated (recommended).
After activating the drive, the drive should be set to AF (in
•
control).

Spot selection

8.2.1

8.2.1 Function description

• The IO length of the spot number is 2 bytes (0...65535), the IO length of the
vehicle type is 1 byte (0...255).
• For spots that are necessary to operate the system (service programs), the
point names are headed with an S_ (Ex: S_0_1101_ActivateGun) followed by a
