This signal Start maintenance request is used to indicate to the controller that the
gun should perform their specific maintenance movement. This function may only
be executed if the robot outputs the "Automatic" operating mode.

input.
• An edge change at the moment when the field bus goes online is not evaluated.
• Prerequisite for starting the service program:
The timer is in automatic mode (output bit "Control in

automatic" set.)
The "Positioning enable" is set

No other service program is active

• If one of these prerequisites is not fulfilled, a corresponding error message is
output when the signal changes edge 0 -> 1.

8.9.1 Functional description
• When the "Energy-saving mode on" bit is set, the enabled drive is set directly to
the "Down" state (Ready for enable).
• Started movement commands are aborted and the gun is set.
• After the stop, the motor brake is closed.
• In this state, the gun is not ready for undocking, the motor encoder continues to
be supplied with voltage.
• The bit "Servocontroller ready" is reset to FALSE in energy saving mode.
