8.10 7th axis operation (external robot axis)
8.10.1 Functional description
• The controller switches to 7-axis operation if the "Positoning enable" input = 0
and the "Command position gun opening dimension valid" input = 1.
• The gun then cyclically follows the position setpoints of the robot, as long as
they are within the position limits of the gun.
• In this operating mode, no movement commands (such as position reset,
referencing, function stroke, welding sequence,...) can be started.
• When switching to the 7th axis mode, all internally pending positioning
commands are aborted.
