Networking and configuring the EV charging box
Setting up the OCPP backend connection
Prerequisite
You must be logged in as an Admin. Electrician only!
The data required to set up the OCPP connection is available from the
provider of your OCPP backend. OCPP Vendor and OCPP Model may be a
maximum of 40 characters long. The data type for the characters is unit and
the value range is from 0 to 4294967295.
► Select the desired interface.
► Click Network/Cloud.
► Enter the data.
► Click Save.
Updating firmware
The current firmware for the EV charging box, the Bluetooth module and the
WiFi module is available in our online catalogue.
Firmware for the EV charging box
► Download the latest firmware file.
► Click Config/General.
► Click Select file.
► Choose the current firmware file.
► Click Upload.
The file is loaded to the EV charging box. This may take up to one minute.
After the upload is complete tick the box in the field Upload Status. The
change is adopted the next time the EV charging box is restarted.
► Click Restart.
Firmware for the Bluetooth module
► Download the latest firmware file.
► Click Network/WiFi.
► Under Select BT File, click Select file.
► Choose the current firmware file.
► Click Upload.
The file is loaded to the EV charging box. This may take up to one minute.
After the upload is complete tick the box in the field Upload Status. The
change is adopted the next time the EV charging box is restarted.
► Click Restart.
Firmware for the WiFi module
► Download the latest firmware file.
► Click Network/WiFi.
► Under Select WiFi file, click Select file.
► Choose the current firmware file.
► Click Upload.
The file is loaded to the EV charging box. This may take up to one minute.
After the upload is complete tick the box in the field Upload Status. The EV
charging box will restart automatically.
