c) Mounting the code lock
• First, the three marked mounting holes must be opened up from the casing. To do this, use
e.g. a drill or a pointed object.
• Now mount the casing on the wall, using the supplied screws and, if necessary, the wall plugs,
depending on the condition of the wall (e.g. brickwork).
The casing must be mounted in such a way that the screw opening for the fixing
screws (G) point downwards.
Ensure that no cables or wires are damaged when drilling holes or tightening screws.
• Connect the cables to the corresponding screw terminals. See the diagram on the next page
for a standard wiring example.
Use suitable cables with different colours. Note the colours and store this information
together with these instructions.
When connecting the power supply cables, pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+
and minus/-). Observe the contact load capacity for all outputs.
Warning!
Never connect mains voltage to any of the outputs or terminals on the code lock.
There is a risk of fatal electric shock!
• Insert the code lock into the casing. Ensure that the cables are not pinched.
• Slide the cover on top of the casing. First hook it into the two recesses at the top and then
press it firmly into place at the bottom.
• The cover can be fixed to the casing with the two fastening screws.
