10. Operation

• Once you have finished mounting the product (see Chapter 7 for details), turn on the power
supply.
• The illumination of the buttons will be enabled. The LED in the top centre (B) on the code
lock flashes orange (approx. 1x per second). A beep tone is emitted in the flashing rhythm
of the LED.
• You can now start programming, see Chapter 14.
The master code is required to program the code lock. In basic setting, the master
code is "0000"; this must be changed in any case for normal operation of the code
lock.
Important!
If you have forgotten the programmed master code, proceed as described in Chapter 13.
Warning!
Master code, user codes, superuser code and visitor codes can have 4 to 8 digits, and
a mixed length is also possible.
However, if you activate the automatic access mode (see Chapter 14. m), all codes
must have the same length (such as master code + superuser code + user codes 5
digits). The reason is that the code entry does not have to be confirmed with the
button when automatic access mode is activated.
Data and settings are not affected by power cuts. However, visitor codes will be
automatically deleted for security reasons.
The door opener button (connected between screw terminals 8 "EG IN" and GND)
for safety reasons is completely independent of any programming and activates the
output for the door opener when pressed.
