d) Programming the code length and master code

Master code and user codes can include 2 to 6 digits. All codes must be of the same length.
The code length must be programmed first, followed by the new master code directly
thereafter. If you exit the programming mode unintentionally after programming the
code length, you must reset the code lock.
If the code length is changed (e.g. from 4 digits to 5 digits), all settings and program-
mings will be lost.
Proceed as follows:
• Enable the programming mode; see chapter 9. a).
• Enter . The control LED will flash yellow.
• Enter . The code lock will emit a long sound signal and the control LED will glow
yellow steadily.
• Now enter the desired code length:
2-digit codes
3-digit codes
4-digit codes
5-digit codes
6-digit codes
• The code lock will emit a long sound signal.
If 3 short sound signals are emitted instead of the long one, the same code length as
the already existing one has been programmed.
• Briefly press the
• Enter . The control LED will flash yellow.
• Enter the new master code twice in succession.
Make absolutely sure that the number of digits of the new master code corresponds to
that of the code length just programmed, for example, 3 digits.
• The code lock will emit a short and a long sound signal and the control LED will glow yellow
steadily.
• Press the button to exit programming mode. The control LED will glow red steadily.
