5.7 Changing the coaxial cable length

Valid for versions with remote amplifier.

This setting makes it possible to configure the coaxial cable length between the sensor head and
■
process connection.
Configuration
Predefined coaxial cable length (1,000 mm, 2,000 mm, or 3,300 mm)
■
Log into expert mode (see Chapter "5.1 Expert mode")
■
Configure the coaxial cable length in the EXPRT-Config-CblLen menu (1,000 to 3,300 mm)
■
Note:
Only the following configurations are permitted:

5.8 Activating the display lock

To prevent the sensor from being tampered with, password protection can be activated for the
■
display.
When the protection is active, the expert password (000537) must be entered before the menu
■
can be accessed.
The menu is only unlocked once the correct password is entered.

Configuration
Log into expert mode (see Chapter "5.1 Expert mode")
■
The protection can be (de)activated via the EXPRT-Config-Lock menu.
■
Note:
The user is logged out again after 5 minutes of inactivity.
■
When the display is locked, only the configured measured value display (DspVal) can be seen
■

5.9 Selecting the display unit (millimeter/inch)

This setting makes it possible to display and configure all length measurements in either millime-
■
ters or inches.
Configuration
Log into expert mode (see Chapter "5.1 Expert mode")

Set the unit in the EXPRT-Config-Unit menu (mm/inch)
