Adjustment weight balance
When the adjusting of the main- and side clamping is
finished, mind, that the device (HVZ-GENIUS) hangs
horizontal to the working area. If required a little tilled to
the machine side (rollers).
As Orientation: Plug bolt (A) should be approx. in the
middle of the stone layer (viewed from the direction of the
side gripping).

•
The distance between the head of the adapter and the C-profile is usually
half the length of one block, when half bond is required.
•
In the example shown, length of the paver is 20 cm,
divided by 2 = 10 cm.
•
On the paver layer showed here as an example, on the right hand side
adapters to touch row 1, 3, 5 and 7 should be mounted roughly in the right
distance towards one another.
•
On the C-profile on the left-hand side the adapters are mounted to touch
row 2, 4 and 6.
•
Hydraulically open the main clamp, which is already set correctly,
completely, position it over the pack of pavers, clamp hanging freely.
•
Close side clamping completely.
•
Hanging height should be high enough, so the side clamping is not
touching the pavers.
•
Rough setting of both side clamping parts via screw P until the length of
the layer + half length of one paver (in example shown 5 x 20 + 10 = 110
cm, is showing underneath the scale. See illustration)
•
Measure the distance between the two C-profiles, do the fine tuning via
screw P. So the measurement is about 3 – 4 mm larger than the actual
length of the laying cluster.
•
Doing this, you make sure that the single pavers are not compressed
together completely but still have small joints between one another in the
side clamping direction.
•
This is necessary in order to get the joint width of about 2 ½ mm, as
required by the specifications.
•
Open side clamping completely.
