Premontaggio gruppo leva freno posteriore
Applicare grasso bianco all'interno del foro della leva freno
posteriore (25), sui n.2 OR (12) e sul perno (15) escludendo la parte
filettata.
Introdurre il primo anello OR (12) sul perno (15).
Inserire il perno (15) sulla leva freno posteriore (25) fino a battuta,
controllando che l'anello OR (12) sia correttamente posizionato
nella sede della leva freno posteriore (25).
Dal lato opposto, introdurre il secondo anello OR (12) nella sede
della leva freno posteriore (25) e inserire sull'estremità del perno
(15) la rosetta (18).
Posizionare la leva posteriore (25) sulla piastra portapedana destra
(23) e impuntare il perno (15).
Serrare il perno (15) alla coppia indicata.
Avvitare completamente il dado sinistro (30), riconoscibile dalle
tacche (30A), sullo snodo sferico sinistro (31) senza serrare.
Applicare Loctite 243 sul filetto dello snodo sferico sinistro (31) e
avvitare l'asta (33) dal lato contrassegnato dalla scanalatura (33A).
Avvitare completamente il dado (29) sullo snodo sferico (25) senza
serrare.
Applicare Loctite 243 sul filetto dello snodo sferico (25) e avvitare
l'asta (33).
Regolare l'asta (33) fino ad ottenere la quota d'interasse indicata in
figura (Z).
Portare il dado sinistro (30) e il dado (29) a battuta sull'asta (33).
Serrare il dado sinistro (30) alla coppia indicata, mantenendo l'asta
(33) dalla presa di chiave (33B).
Mantenendo allineati sullo stesso piano gli snodi sferici (31) e (32),
serrare il dado (29) alla coppia indicata, mantenendo l'asta (33)
dalla presa di chiave (33B).
Verificare che la quota d'interasse tra gli snodi (31) e (25) non sia
variata.
Applicare Loctite 243 sul filetto della vite (38).
Posizionare lo snodo (32) sulla leva freno posteriore (25) e
impuntare la vite (38).
Serrare la vite (38) alla coppia indicata.
Premontaggio gruppo piastra portapedana destra
Inserire la molla (14), orientandola come mostrato in figura,
all'interno della pedana (3).
Montare la pedana (3) sull'attacco pedana regolabile destro (24),
avendo cura di introdurre l'estremità (14A) della molla all'interno
del foro (24A).
Inserire il perno pedana (7) dal lato indicato e bloccarlo, sul lato
opposto, con l'anello di sicurezza (1).

Pre-assembling the rear brake lever assembly
Apply white grease inside rear brake lever hole (25), on no.2
O-rings (12) and on pin (15), except on the threaded part.
Insert the first O-ring (12) on pin (15).
Insert pin (15) fully home against rear brake lever (25), checking
that O-ring (12) is correctly positioned in the seat of rear brake
lever (25).
On the opposite side, insert the second O-ring (12) in the seat of
rear brake lever (25) and insert washer (18) on the end of pin (15).
Position the rear lever (25) on the RH footpeg holder plate (23), and
start pin (15).
Tighten pin (15) to the specified torque.
Fully screw LH nut (30), identified by marks (30A), on LH ball joint
(31) without tightening.
Apply Loctite 243 on the thread of LH ball joint (31) and tighten rod
(33) from the side marked with a groove (33A).
Fully start the nut (29) on ball joint (25) without tightening.
Apply Loctite 243 on the thread of ball joint (25) and tighten rod
(33).
Adjust rod (33) until reaching the distance indicated in figure (Z).
Drive LH nut (30) and nut (29) fully home against rod (33).
Tighten LH nut (30) to the indicated torque, holding rod (33) from
the flat (33B).
Keeping ball joints (31) and (32) aligned on the same level, tighten
nut (29) to the specified torque, holding rod (33) from the flat
(33B).
Check that the centre distance between joints (31) and (25) has
not changed.
Apply Loctite 243 on screw thread (38).
Position joint (32) on rear brake lever (25) starting screw (38) in its
thread.
Tighten screw (38) to the specified torque.
Pre-assembling the RH footpeg holder plate assembly
Fit spring (14), positioning it as shown in the figure, inside footpeg
(3).
Install footpeg (3) on the RH adjustable footpeg mounting (24),
paying attention to insert end (14A) of the spring inside hole (24A).
Insert footpeg pin (7) from the indicated side and lock it with the
safety ring (1) on the opposite side.
