Adjusting the closing direction
The closing direction of the panic lock can be switched for use in DIN left hand and
DIN right hand doors (Fig. 5). For this purpose, the latch bolt and control latch
must be rotated before the lock is installed in the door.
DIN left hand
Prerequisite
The closing direction can only be switched if it is equipped with a lock with a
symmetrical face plate.
The lock is in "unlocked" state (latch bolt 12 mm throw and movable)
Rotate the latch bolt
(Fig. 6)
1 Unscrew the locking screw.
2 Pull out the latch bolt.
3 Turn the latch bolt 180 degrees and re-insert it.
4 Fix the latch bolt with the locking screw.
 The latch bolt was installed matching the closing direction of the door.
Rotating the control latch
(Fig. 7)
1 Loosen the anchoring with a rod or screwdriver.
1.1 Press the rod carefully into the opening until a slight counter-pressure
from the spring can be felt.
2 Pull the control latch out at the same time.
3 Press the rod carefully into the opening again until a slight counter-pressure
from the spring can be felt.
4 Insert the control latch again, rotated 180 degrees, to the stop at the same
time.
5 Release the rod again.
6 Check that the control latch is fitted securely.
 The control latch was installed matching the closing direction of the door.
