Functional limitation due to faulty recess of the lock pocket: The lock pocket
must be created corresponding to the lock pocket dimensions. You must insert
the lock without using any force and screw it into place, so that is not subject to
mechanical stress.
Property damage after drilling through the lock: The lock is damaged by drill-
ing. You may only use existing holes drilled at the factory to attach fittings. The
lock must be removed for any work on the door leaf, such as drilling or cutting.
Damage from dirt: The lock is damaged by dirt. The lock pocket and all holes
must be cleaned (by blowing out or vacuuming) prior to installation.
Functional limitation due to distorted installation:The lock must be installed
free of torsion.
Functional limitation due to door handles not being able to move freely:The
lock must be fitted so that the handle spindle and the spindle hub align.
Property damage caused by forcefully installing the handle pin into the fol-
lower:The door handle spindle must be gently inserted into the spindle hub. No
tools are needed.
Property damage due to missing locking cylinder in locked door: The lock
locks a closed door automatically and can then only be unlocked again via the
locking cylinder. If a locking cylinder is not installed, the door can only be opened
by force. A construction locking cylinder must be installed before the lock is
installed.
Property damage from construction key: The use of a so-called construction key
can destroy the lock. Then the function is no longer guaranteed. Only use a suit-
able locking cylinder in accordance with DIN 18252 or SN EN 1303 for operating
the lock.
