Changing the panic side
The panic side of the lock must be adjusted before installation. The panic side of
the lock must be adjusted so that the door can be opened in the escape direction
(normally outward from inside) with the door handle, regardless of the locking
status of the lock.
Warning!
An incorrectly adjusted panic side can result in life-threatening danger and
risk of injury: After installing the lock, check whether the locked door can be
opened in the escape direction.

Hold the lock so that the face plate with the latches is on the left and the latch
bolt is at the top (Fig. 8).

Optional monitoring:
Switch DIP switch 3 to the changed panic side.

The panic side is adjusted such that the door can always be opened in the
escape direction.
