How to Scan and Print Photographs

This section describes how to scan photographs as
image data and then print them.
Selecting the Scanner as the Input Device

Touch the screen once.
The media selection screen is displayed.

Touch [PRINT (Scanner)].
Note
The following buttons are available for this screen
and the screens that follow. Touch the buttons when
required.
• If you touch the [Start Over] button, a message
prompts you to confirm that you want to
completely cancel the current operation and
return to the start screen. If you touch the [OK]
button, the display returns to the screen in Step 1.
• [Return]. Touch to return to the previous screen.
• [Help]. Touch to display online Help for a
description of procedures applicable to the
current screen.
Selecting the Output Service
Touch the appropriate button to select the output service.
For details, see "Output Services" (page 34).
For example, touch [Prints (3.5 × 5)].

Loading the Originals in the Scanner

Scan a photograph and read it as image data. Repeat as
many times as necessary.

Read the contents of the message, and then touch
the [OK] button.
A message prompts you to place the photograph in
the scanner.

Set the original photograph in the scanner.
Photographs of various sizes are positioned as
shown in the illustration. For details about
positioning photographs for scanning, please refer
to the scanner instructions.
