Notes
• If you scan a film from an auto-slide feeder, the
display changes directly to the screen allowing
you to specify the number of prints. Proceed to
Step 1 of "Specifying the Number of Copies to
Print" (page 23).
• When you scan several film strips, do not mix
different types together (negative, positive, black
and white).
• When the number of scanned frames reaches the
maximum number of prints set with the
configuration screen, you are not prompted to
confirm whether you want to scan another film.
Instead, the screen allowing you to specify the
number of copies to print is displayed.
For details, refer to "Specifying the Number of
Copies to Print" (page 23).
• When you write scanned film strips to CD-R and
the volume of data that can be written to CD-R
reaches the maximum set with the configuration
screen, you are not prompted to confirm whether
you want to scan another film. Instead, the screen
allowing you to confirm the prices is displayed.
Continue from Step 3 of "Writing Image Data to
a CD-R" (page 40).

Follow the procedure from Step 3 of "Setting the
Film and Prescanning" (page 20) to Step 1 of
"Scanning the Film" (page 22).

Repeat Steps 3 and 4, as necessary.

When you are done, touch the [No] button at Step
3, above.
The screen allowing you to select the number of
prints is displayed.
Specifying the Number of Copies to Print

Specify the number of copies to print.
If the list contains more than one page, touch [b] or
[B] to change the page display.
• In order to specify the number of prints for each
image, touch an image to select it, and then at
[Quantity] touch the [+] or [-] button to increase
or decrease the number of copies.
• In order to specify the same number of copies for
all the images, at [Add to All] touch the [+] or [-]
button to increase or decrease the number of
copies to print for all the images.
At this step you can also perform the following
procedures:
• You can edit the image by adjusting the
brightness or contrast, or trimming the image.
For details, see "Editing Image Data" (page 26).
• You can also set up an index print of the displayed
images.
For details, see "Using Index Printing" (page 38).
• You can select the finish of your pictures between
glossy, texture and matte. Touch the [Surface]
button to switch between [Glossy], [Texture], or
[Matte].
• When you specify [Prints] as the output service,
you can touch the [Additional order] button to
print and write the images that you selected to
CD-R.

Touch the [OK] button.
The next screen allows you to confirm the price of
the print job.
