Changing Settings

Using the configuration screen, you can change the
settings of the unit to suit your needs. This section
explains how to change to settings.

Touch the screen twice successively at the location
indicated below.

Touch the number buttons to enter the startup
password.
To correct the entry, clear it by touching the [C]
button and reenter the password.
Note
The default password is [0000].

Touch the [Enter] button in the lower-right corner
of the screen.
The [Setting] screen opens.
Touching the tabs on this screen displays the
settings listed below.
For details about these settings, see "Settings"
(following section).
• [H/W] tab
Touch here twice.
• [Menu] tab
• [Function] tab
• [Price] tab
• [Language] tab
• [Receipt] tab
• [Diagnostic] tab
• [Other] tab
Touch to open the [Setting - H/W] screen to set up
the printer or scanner connection, select the
default color adjustment settings for printing, and
enable use of the main unit slot or drive.
Touch to open the [Setting - Menu] screen and
select settings for various output services that are
available.
Touch to open the [Setting - Function] screen,
where you can make image data loading settings
and printer coordination settings.
Touch to open the [Setting - Price] screen, set the
price of each output service, as well as set the
currency.
Touch to open the [Setting - Language] screen
and select the operational language of the system.
Touch to open the [Setting - Receipt] screen,
where you can enter the date information to print
on the receipt.
Touch to open the [Setting - Diagnostic] screen
and run the diagnostic program on the main unit
or connected peripheral devices.
Touch to open the [Setting - Other] screen and set
a password, set the currency, switch warning
display on or off, and make other main unit
settings.
