j) Commande du véhicule
Activez le levier (13) pour la fonction de conduite avec beaucoup de précaution et ne conduisez pas, au
début, trop vite, jusqu'à ce que vous vous familiarisiez avec les réactions du véhicule à la commande.
Ne faites pas de mouvements rapides et brusques avec le levier (13) ou le volant (8).
• Le volant (8) sert au braquage. Comme pour une vraie voiture, une rotation vers la gauche permet de pendre un
virage à gauche, une rotation vers la droite permet de prendre un virage à droite. Si nécessaire, corrigez le réglage
de l'interrupteur Servo-Reverse (3).
• Le régulateur Dualrate (12) permet de régler la limite de braquage. Ceci signifie que le cercle de braquage peut être
réduit ou élargi. Pour une conduite lente, des cercles de braquages réduits sont recommandés. Pour une conduite
rapide, un réglage opposé permet une commande plus précise.
• Le levier (13) sert à la marche avant ou arrière. Quand on tire le levier au moyen de l'index en direction de la poignée
(tirez avec précaution si vous actionnez la voiture pour la première fois), la voiture devrait rouler en marche avant. Si
l'on pousse le levier dans l'autre direction, la voiture roule en marche arrière.
Si nécessaire, corrigez le réglage de l'interrupteur Servo-Reverse (4).
Si vous commutez entre la marche avant et arrière, placez le levier pour un bref moment (environ 1
seconde) en position centrale (position centrale = le moteur ne bouge pas).
Si vous poussez le levier directement avant la marche avant ou arrière, vous activez la fonction de frei-
nage de l'entraînement (la voiture ne roule PAS en marche arrière).
Exemples :
1. Relâchez le levier, la voiture continue à rouler par inertie (ou ne bouge pas)
2. Rouler en marche avant, pousser lentement le levier en direction de la poignée
3. Rouler en marche avant et puis freiner (la voiture ralentit, ne roule pas lentement par inertie), repousser en continu
le levier de la poignée
4. Rouler en marche avant et ensuite en marche arrière (attendre courtement entre les passages, environ 1 seconde !)

Check the LEDs to make sure the batteries still provide enough power.
• If all three LEDs are lit, the batteries are full.
• If the green LED goes out (only the red and the yellow LEDs are lit), the batteries are low and should be exchanged
soon. However, there is still enough power to operate the remote control and the vehicle without any problems.
• If only the red LED is lit, the batteries are empty and must be exchanged. Stop the vehicle and switch it off. Then
switch off the remote control. Exchange the batteries or rechargeable batteries of the remote control with new ones.
f) Inserting the rechargeable battery back into the vehicle and connecting it to the speed
controller
A conventional 6-cell racing pack (NiCd or NiMH) is required for the vehicle.
• Take off one of the two angle brackets (first remove the holding clip). Now the battery pack can be inserted (you
might have to push a little).
• Reattach the angle bracket and secure it using the holding clip.
To prevent a sudden movement of the drive and an uncontrolled movement of the model (e.g. if the trim for
the drive is wrongly adjusted), place the vehicle on a suitable support such as a starter box so that the
wheels can turn freely and do not touch the ground.
Never touch the drive mechanism (wheels, axles, cogs/pinions, cardan shaft). Risk of injury!
• Switch on the remote control.
• Switch off the speed controller on the vehicle (switch in "OFF" position,
see arrow in ill. 2).
• Connect the battery pack to the speed controller. Do not use force
when connecting the plugs. The plugs are reverse-polarity-protected.
g) Switching on the speed controller
Check again if the remote control is switched on and ready and if the vehicle is on a suitable support (e.g.
starter box) so that the wheels can turn freely and do not touch the ground.
Put the switch for the speed controller (see ill. 2) in the "ON" position. Observe the labelling on the switch.
