e) Switching on the transmitter
Always turn on the remote control before connecting the rechargeable battery pack to the speed controller.
Check the LEDs to make sure the batteries still provide enough power.
• If all three LEDs are lit, the batteries are full.
• If the green LED goes out (only the red and the yellow LEDs are lit), the batteries are low and should be exchanged
soon. However, there is still enough power to operate the remote control and the vehicle without any problems.
• If only the red LED is lit, the batteries are empty and must be exchanged. Stop the vehicle and switch it off. Then
exchange the batteries or rechargeable batteries of the remote control with new ones.

f) Connecting the battery pack to the speed controller

Before connecting the battery pack to the speed controller, activate the remote control (see chapters 9. d) and 9. e).
To prevent a sudden movement of the drive and an uncontrolled movement of the model (e.g. if the trim
for the drive is wrongly adjusted), place the vehicle on a suitable support such as a starter box, so that
the wheels can turn freely and do not touch the ground.
Switch off the speed controller.
The on/off switch for the speed controller is right next to the speed controller
(see arrow in the illustration on the right).
The switch position is indicated next to it on the chassis: "I" (= "ON", speed
controller switched on) and "0" (= "OFF", speed controller switched off).
Now connect the battery pack to the speed controller.
If you want to assemble the battery packs yourself, observe the correct polarity
(red wire = positive, black wire = negative).
g) Activating the speed controller
Put the switch (also see chapter 9. f) in position "I" (= "ON", switched on). Also see the indication of the switch position
on the chassis/the switch.
