7. Control elements of the remote control
If needed, the telescopic aerial can be screwed off for
transport.
If the steering response is exactly opposite to the
movement of the control wheel (8), you can reverse
the movement using the slide switch.
This inverts the response of the drive (forward/reverse)
to the throttle (13).
status
If all three LEDs are lit, the batteries are full.
If the green LED goes out (only the red and the yellow
LEDs are lit), the batteries are low and should be
exchanged soon.
If only the red LED is lit, the batteries are empty and
must be exchanged.
The transmitter and the receiver must be equipped with
a crystal of the same frequency. Transmitter crystals
are usually labelled "TX". Receiver crystals are usually
labelled "RX". Do not mix up the two crystals!
This slide switch turns the transmitter on or off. If the slide switch is moved towards the control wheel (8), the
transmitter is switched on. Never switch off the transmitter while the vehicle is in operation!
This trim control sets the directional stability of the vehicle. With the vehicle standing, put the front wheels in a
straight position. A more precise setting of directional stability is carried out later when driving the vehicle.
To make sure the vehicle stops when the throttle (13) is released, neutral position can be set exactly using this trim
control.
