b) Switching on the remote control
Slide the on/off button to the ON position to turn the remote control on.
The blue LED indicator will turn on.
Important!
The LED indicator will flash if the batteries are low and need replacing or recharging.

9. Setting up the boat

a) Installing the boat battery

Lift the lid off the battery compartment (4).
Connect the battery plug to the plug that is already in the battery compartment.
Place the battery into the battery compartment and push the cable so it fits neatly inside the compartment.
Place the lid back onto the battery compartment.

b) Charging the boat battery

The boat battery can be charged using the charging cable provided.
The charging cable is wound up. Before first use, remove the cable tie and fully unwind the charging cable.
Lift the lid off the battery compartment (4).
Unplug the battery and remove it from the battery compartment.
Attach the battery cable to the charger cable and plug it into the mains power socket.
It takes approximately 8 hours to charge the battery. A fully charged battery provides 2-4 hours of sailing time.
The battery is fully charged when all the LED indicators are lit up. The battery needs to be recharged when all the
green LED indicators are unlit and only the red LED indicator is lit.
Once the battery is charged, return it to the battery compartment as described above.
You can purchase a larger 3S battery to obtain faster sailing speeds.
Important!
Only charge the boat battery using the charging cable provided. Never attempt to charge the battery with a different/
incompatible charger! Always remove the battery from the boat to recharge it. Only charge the battery when you are
able to monitor the charging process.
