16. Maintenance and Cleaning

Maintenance or repairs are only permitted by a specialized skilled person or a specialized
repair shop. There are no components on the inside of the product that need maintenance by
you, this is why you should never open it (apart from the described approach to insert or change
the batteries, in these instructions).
To clean the exterior of the weather station, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.

Do not press too hard on the display, this may cause scratch marks or lead to
failure of the display.
Dust on the weather station can be easily removed with the help of a long-haired, soft and clean
brush and a vacuum cleaner.
To remove dirt on the outdoor sensor, a soft cloth, slightly dampened with lukewarm water can
be used.
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or other chemical solvents since they
can damage the surface of the housing or even impair operation.
