2. Remove the bolt out of the holding device.
3. Remove the side panels and fold down the back part
onto the seat bottom.

To put a wheelchair with mechanical back angle adjustment
into operation:
1. Unfold the backrest.
2. Insert the cross bolt at the end of the gas compression
spring into the holding device (Fig. 26, item 2).
3. Lock the cross bolt (push down the lever, see Fig. 26,
arrow). The locking will engage on the cross bolt.

7.2 Mechanically Elevating Footrest
The power wheelchair can be equipped with mechanically
elevating footrests (see Fig. 27).
To elevate the footrest:
1. Use the release lever on the footrest (to unblock the gas
compression spring, see arrow in Fig. 27).
2. Move the footrest to the desired position.
3. Let go of the release lever (to again block the gas com-
pression spring).
