Causes
Input terminals of the thermocouple,
resistance thermometer (RTD) or DC
voltage (DC 0 ... 1 V) are not securely
fastened to the input connections
The PV has dropped below the display
and control range
The DC voltage (DC 1 ... 5 V) or the
DC current (DC 4 ... 20 mA) input
signal cable has become detached
The input signal cable for DC voltage
(DC 1 ... 5 V) or the DC current
(DC 4 ... 20 mA) is not securely
connected with the input terminals
Incorrect polarity of the thermocouple
or compensating cable
Codes (A, B, B) of the resistance
thermometer do not match with the
connections
Hardware error
Control output OFF function is
activated

Measures
Connect the sensor connection
securely to the input terminals
Check the input signal source and
cabling of the input terminals
Check whether the input signal
cable is detached:
DC voltage (DC 1 ... 5 V)

If the input of the input terminals
is DC 1 V and the lower limits
of the scaling are displayed,
the instrument is most-likely
operating normally, but the
signal cable may have become
detached.
Direct current (DC 4 ... 20 mA)

If the input of the input terminals
is DC 4 mA and the lower limits
of the scaling are displayed,
the instrument is most-likely
operating normally, but the
signal cable may have become
detached.
Connect the input signal cable
securely with the connections
Make the cabling correctly
Contact the manufacturer.
Press the / button for approx.
ON
OFF
1 second in order to switch off the
