Prerequisites:
You have opened the Parameter menu/Base parameters menu. See Section
–
10.4.1: Open parameter menu/Base parameters.
The control unit has been put into service. See Section 9.1: Control unit setup.

Set control unit address
1.
Select the menu item Base parameters/Device address.
2.
Move the joystick to the right.
3.
Set the address of the control unit (max. 10) using the keys 0-9.
Set baud rate
1.
Select the menu item Base parameters/Baud rate I1.
2.
Set the baud rate to 1200.
Set parity
3.
Select the menu item Base parameters/Parity I1.
4.
Set the parity to none.
Set operating mode
1.
Select the menu item Base parameters/Interface adjustment.
2.
Select the menu item Interface adjustment/Op. mode COM1.
3.
Set Mode COM1: SIEMENS CSXC1601.
Refer to the Instruction Manual of the SIEMENS multiplexer for setting the baud rate, address and
protocol.
