Domes which are directly connected to the RS485 interface of the control unit can
also be configured. Data is not output via the COM1A/COM1B interface in
configuration mode, thus preventing double control.
Prerequisites:
The dome is connected to the telemetry interface COM2. See Section 8.7.1:
–
Control unit with RS485 bus mode or Section 8.7.2: Control unit with TTY bus
mode.
The domes must be equipped with an OSD menu and be suitable for operation
–
with the control unit.
Prerequisite:
You are logged in as administrator.
1. Select the desired camera.
2. In operating mode Telemetry devices directly connected to control unit:
Press the "xxx"-Cam key.
3. In operating mode Control unit connected to SIMATRIX Terminal-/TTY
connection: Press the keys " xxx"-"Cam" and "yyy"-Mon.
4. Keep Cam/AX key depressed and press F1.
The OSD menu opens.
