SIMATRIX TTY connection (Term.x)

Prerequisites:
SIMATRIX is connected to the control unit interface COM1B. See Section 8.2.1:

Connecting SIMATRIX to Term.x socket.
The control unit has been put into service. See Section 9.1: Control unit setup.

The SIMATRIX parameterization software is required to incorporate the control

unit into the SIMATRIX video matrix system. The latest version of the SIMATRIX
parameterization software can be found in the Intranet.

1. Connect the telemetry devices to the TTY interface of the video matrix.
See Fig. 31.
The video matrix regularly scans the control unit to see whether a key has
been pressed.
As a reply, the control unit sends the corresponding code of the key.
