Additional telemetry devices can be connected to the telemetry interface (COM2)
of the control unit. It must be ensured that the telemetry devices connected to
SIMATRIX and to the control unit (COM2) have different addresses. Additional
camera functions can be controlled via the COM2 interface using the Cam + Fx
function keys . See Section 16.2: Key functions.
For fault-free operation of the telemetry devices connected directly to the control
units, the picture selection of the telemetry devices to be controlled must be carried
out with the key sequence xxx + Cam + yyy + Mon.
It is not possible to switch the cameras using a function key ( F1 to F10).
In operating mode Control unit connected to SIMATRIX Terminal-/TTY
connection, the keys F1 to F10 are configured in the video matrix.
To select the telemetry devices and monitors, enter the key sequence as shown in
the following table. You must start again if you do not press the next key within
three seconds. Example:

SIMATRIX is connected to the control unit interface COM1A. See Section 8.2.2:

The control unit has been put into service. See Section 9.1: Control unit setup.
