The control unit interface has two physical connections COM1A and COM1B, but
only one physical processor interface.
COM1A
COM1A is a standard RS232 interface for data transfer.

COM1B is adjustable as a current loop (modified TTY interface) or as an RS485
interface. This current loop is referred to below as "TTY".
The video matrix unit is selected via this connection.
