7.3.1 12 V DC connection

A plug for 12 V DC connection is used for the external supply from a suitable
power supply unit.
Connection of the DC power supply is protected against reverse polarity, and is
made using a two-pin plug. The power supply socket is included among the
accessories. The control unit can be connected using this socket to any power
supply unit with DC 12 V/500 mA.
Make sure that the output power of the power supply unit is below 60 VA and the output current below
5 A.
It is recommended to use the PSU230-12 power supply unit for 12 V DC cameras.
