Meaning of LED displays

15 Multi-colour LED (red, orange, green).
The LED displays the status when logging in or when changing the PIN code. It also serves to
check the connection between control unit and video matrix.

16 Key switch
The key switch is used for logging in and out and for changing the PIN code.
LED status Meaning
Off The control unit has been switched off, or is in
the LOGOFF state. The unit can only be used
following a LOGON.
Red flashing (1) The device connected to COM1 does not
register.
(2) SIMATRIX operation: TTY connection to
SIMATRIX lost (check connection or interface
parameters). See Section 0.
Green flashing (1) Pin assignments at COM1 incorrect.
(2) A device connected to COM2 is not in
OSD mode (no control of connected units
possible).
Orange flashing Following pressing of key switch (during
LOGIN or during change in PIN code).
Green (1) Unit is active itself (with respect to COM1)
and is not waiting for external commands. If a
key is pressed when in this status, the control
unit automatically sends a telegram.
(2) Only telemetry mode (with respect to
COM2, where telemetry mode is set as the
mode at COM1).
(3) The LCD menu of the control unit has
been called.
(4) TTY connection to SIMATRIX is
established.
Red/green Green: pin code input accepted.
Red: pin code input not accepted.
