Available devices

Via the telemetry interface the control unit permits control of the following
SIEMENS devices, amongst others:
SIEMENS control units, CDC series
SIEMENS DOME systems, CCDA/CCDS series
SIVIS MINI DOME systems with function module, DCU series
SIEMENS Dome systems, CCDA/CCDS series and SIVIS via CAC0103
interface
Digital cameras with CAC0101 interface connection

Connection possibilities

There are two possible ways to connect the telemetry equipment to the control unit:
Telemetry devices directly connected to the control unit. See Section 8.7.1:
Control unit with RS485 bus mode and 8.7.2: Control unit with TTY bus mode.
Telemetry devices connected via SIMATRIX or multiplexer. See Section 8.2:
Connecting SIMATRIX and Section 8.3: Connecting a SIEMENS Multiplexer
CSXC1601.
Before connecting the telemetry devices, please refer to the information in the respective Instruction
Manuals.
With this system configuration, all peripheral devices must be from the same manufacturer and of the
same type.
Required accessories
RS485 cable: 2-core twisted; max. permissible length 1.2 km with 0.8 mm
conductor diameter.
9-pin Sub-D plug with housing.
1. Connect the telemetry devices to the telemetry interface COM2 on the
control unit.
You can connect up to 10 dome cameras, cameras, or control units.
2. Connect the control unit to the power supply unit. See Section 7.3.1: 12 V DC
connection.
