♦ Connect filter inputs U1/L1, V1/L2, W1/L3 to drive converter outputs
U2/T1, V2/T2, W2/T3.
♦ Connect filter outputs U2/T1, V2/T2, W2/T3 to the motor.
♦ For cable cross-sections, refer to the drive converter Operating
Instructions.
♦ Permissible motor cable lengths see Fig. 3-4.
♦ The protective conductor connection must be dimensioned
corresponding to the power connections and must be connected at
the grounding studs.
Sinusoidal filters, Prod. state A, also have connections C/L+ and D/L−.
Proceed as follows in this case:
♦ When using sinusoidal filters with grounded supply networks (TN
and TT supply networks):
•
Connections C/L+ and D/L- of the sinusoidal filter can be
connected with connections C/L+ and D/L- of the drive
converter.
•
Route the cable so that a short-circuit or ground fault cannot
occur when the insulation breaks down (routed so that it is
short-circuit and ground fault proof).
•
Keep the cable as short as possible, max. 5 m.
•
Cable cross-section: 1.5 mm
•
When fed from a DC bus, the inverter and associated
sinusoidal filter must be fused together (commonly fused):
♦ When using the sinusoidal filter with ungrounded supply networks
(IT supply networks):
It is not permissible to connect C/L+ and D/L
