13. Troubleshooting

After power outage, the code lock will emit beeps for about 1 minute
• This is normal (see chapter 8). To end the beeps early, enter the code
• We recommend operating the code lock with an uninterruptible power supply for reasons of
safety. This also applies to a door opener.
A transponder cannot be taught in
• When teaching in, the transponder must be held in front of the sensor surface (the distance
must be less than 2 cm).
• The transponder is faulty.
• The transponder does not match the code lock (e.g. if you want to use the transponder of
another manufacturer).
• The transponder is already taught in at the code lock. Before you can use it for another user,
you need to delete it from the memory of the code lock.
The door opener does not switch
• The code lock now has potential-free relay contacts. This means that the operating voltage for
the door opener must be supplied externally. Observe the wiring example in chapter 6.
• Use the proper connections at code lock (NC or NO contact, depending on build of the door
opener).
• Ensure that the transponder or the user code switch the right output. The code lock has two
outputs that are independent of each other.
We recommend always connecting a door opener to output #1, since only this output has all
functions of the code lock.
• The transponder or user code is wrong.
The left LED (1) at the code lock does not flash in regular operation
• Check if you have switched off the flashing function; switch the flashing function on again
(chapter 11. p).
