4 Tighten the grip of the AC power clamp to the AC power cable and mount the AC power clamp to
the docking station back cover.
Place the docking station base on the ambulance shelf; securely fix the docking station base on the

ambulance shelf by installing the four M8×25 screws into the pilot holes. See
location of the M8×25 screw holes.
6 Mount the docking station adapter to the bottom of the HeartStart Intrepid:
NOTE: If the HeartStart Intrepid includes the carry bags, you must install the carry bags before mounting
the HeartStart Intrepid onto the docking station adapter. For more information about how to install
the carry bags, see the HeartStart Intrepid Instructions for Use.
Align the docking station adapter with the screw holes on the bottom of the HeartStart

Intrepid. See
b Place the washers onto the screw holes on the back of the docking station adapter.
c Insert and tighten the screws to firmly attach the docking station adapter to the HeartStart
Intrepid.

Removing the Docking Station from the Ambulance Shelf

To remove the docking station from the ambulance shelf:
On the docking station back cover, loosen the six screws of the AC power clamp. Retract the AC

power cable from the opening. Mount the AC power clamp back to the docking station back cover
for future use.
Loosen the four screws on the docking station base. Detach the docking station from the ambulance

self.
Attaching the Intrepid to the Docking Station

To attach the HeartStart Intrepid to the docking station:
Ensure that the docking station is unlocked by checking the lock status on the bottom right corner

of the front panel. To unlock the docking station, insert the T-shape key into the keyhole and rotate
counterclockwise. See
