ECG Interference Troubleshooting
ECG signal interference may occur on a secondary patient monitor when the multifunction
electrodes of the HeartStart Intrepid are attached to the patient and also the HeartStart Intrepid is
connected to AC power.

Description
Potential Solution
Change the AC line filter setting on the secondary patient
monitor to filter power line frequency noise. Select the
50 Hz or 60 Hz option according to the power line
frequency of your country.
If the signal interference persists, unplug the AC power
cord from the HeartStart Intrepid and run the HeartStart
Intrepid on battery power.
