NOTE: You must disconnect the AC power cable before lifting the HeartStart Intrepid from the docking
station.
4 Lift the HeartStart Intrepid from the docking station.
5 Hold the latch on the red handle and push the docking station mounting base inwards until you
hear a click.
6 Insert the T-shape key into the keyhole and turn the key clockwise to lock the docking station.
Cleaning Device Accessories
You can clean the exterior of the HeartStart Intrepid, external paddles, therapy cables, ECG cables,
battery, and docking station by hand wiping with a clean cloth. Remove all containments (such as
tissue or fluid) and wipe thoroughly with a water-dampened cloth before applying one of the
following cleaning products:
• Isopropyl alcohol (at 70% solution in water or as packaged cleaning wipes)
• Mild detergent and water
