• Repair and adjustment work may only be carried out
by authorised specialist personnel.
• Do not refuel or empty the tank near open light, fire
or flying sparks. Smoking prohibited!
• Do not touch any mechanically moving or hot parts.
Do not remove any protective covers.
• The devices must not be exposed to moisture or
dust. Permissible ambient temperature -10 to +40°,
altitude:1000 m above sea level, rel. air humidi-
ty:90% (non-condensing).
• The generator is powered by an internal combus-
tion engine, which generates heat in the area of the
exhaust (on the opposite side of the socket) and
exhaust outlet. Avoid getting close to these surfaces
due to the risk of skin burns.
• Values specified in the technical data under sound
power level (LWA) and sound pressure level (LpA)
represent emission levels and are not necessarily
safe working levels. Since there is a correlation be-
tween emission and exposure levels, it cannot be
reliably used to determine any additional precau-
tionary measures that may be required.
Factors influencing the current immission level of
the worker include the characteristics of the work
space, other sources of noise, etc., such as the
number of machines and other adjacent processes
and the length of time an operator is exposed to
the noise.
• The permitted exposure level may also vary from
country to country. Nevertheless, this information
will enable the operator of the machine to make a
better assessment of the risks and hazards.
Attention: Only use standard unleaded petrol
Warning! This power tool generates an electromagnet-
ic field during operation. This field can impair active or
passive medical implants under certain conditions. In
order to prevent the risk of serious or deadly injuries,
we recommend that persons with medical implants
consult with their physician and the manufacturer of
the medical implant prior to operating the power tool.
m WARNING
Read all safety information and instructions. Fail-
ure to adhere to safety information and instructions
can result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injuries.
Save all warnings and instructions for future ref-
erence.

6. Residual risks
The generator has been built according to the
state-of-the-art and the recognised technical
safety rules. However, individual residual risks
can arise during operation.
Furthermore, despite all precautions having been met,
some non-obvious residual risks may still remain.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety in-
structions" and the "Proper use" are observed along
with the whole of the operating instructions.
Dangers and protective measures
Exhaust gases:
Inhaling of exhaust gases
Only use the device outdoors
Electric shock:
Touching the spark plug
Do not touch the spark plug connector when engine
is running
Burns:
Touching the exhaust pipe
Leave the device to cool down
Fire - explosion:
Petrol is flammable
Smoking is prohibited when refuelling and working
Unpacking the machine
Check the contents for potential damage during trans-
port.
Any damage must be reported to the carrier immedi-
ately. Check the contents for completeness. Report
any missing parts to the dealer immediately. Additional
parts that are to be attached to the machine must be
located and allocated before assembly.
Attention! Fill the oil before commissioning!
