4. Proper use
The device is intended for 230 V AC voltage devices.
Be sure to observe the restrictions in the safety in-
structions. The purpose of the generator is to drive
power tools and supply power to lighting sources. For
household devices, please check the suitability ac-
cording to the respective manufacturer's instructions.
Contact an authorised specialist dealer.
The machine may only be used in the intended man-
ner. Any use beyond this is improper. The user/opera-
tor, not the manufacturer, is responsible for damages
or injuries of any type resulting from this. Please ob-
serve that our equipment was not designed with the
intention of use for commercial or industrial purposes.
We assume no guarantee if the equipment is used in
commercial or industrial applications, or for equivalent
work.
5. General safety information
This unit conforms to the prescribed safety regu-
lations for electrical machines
• Read the usage instructions carefully before start-
ing the generator.
• Improper use may lead to personal injury and dam-
age to property. Persons who are unfamiliar with
the instructions may not operate the unit. Store the
user manual carefully.
• Children and young persons may not use this unit.
• The manufacturer does not take any responsibility
for damage caused by improper use or changes to
the machine.
• Also adhere to the safety information, the assembly
and operating instructions, as well as the accident
prevention regulations that are generally applicable.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Ensure that persons who work with this unit have read
and understood these operating instructions before
operating the unit.
Never use this unit inside buildings or in an environ-
ment that does not have ventilation.
The exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide,
which is an odourless, poisonous gas.
Attention!
The voltage of the generator fluctuates; this may cause
damage to the following devices:
• Television sets, audio-video devices,
• products or devices with electronic control

• It is prohibited to make any modifications to the
power generator.
• Only original parts may be used for maintenance
and accessories.
• Attention:Danger of poisoning, exhaust, fuel vapour
and lubricants are poisonous, exhaust may not be
inhaled
• Keep children away from the power generator.
• Attention:Danger of burning, do not touch suction
system and drive unit.
• Use suitable hearing protection when you are near
the device.
• Attention:Petrol and fuel vapours are highly flam-
mable and explosive.
• Do not operate the power generator in unventilated
rooms or in highly flammable environments. Risk
of explosion:Never operate the power generator in
rooms with highly flammable substances.
• The manufacturer's preset speed must not be
changed. Power generators or connected devices
may be damaged.
• Secure the generator against slipping and toppling
when transporting it.
• Place the generator at least 1m away from walls or
connected devices.
• Give the power generator a secure, level place.
Turning and tilting or changing location during op-
eration is prohibited.
• Always switch off the engine during transport and
refuelling.
• Take care not to spill fuel on the engine or exhaust
pipe when refuelling.
• Never operate the power generator during rain or
snowfall.
• Never touch the power generator with wet hands.
• Protect yourself from electrical hazards.
• Only use approved and appropriately identified ex-
tension cables for use outdoors (H07RN).
• When using extension cables, their total length
must not exceed 50 m for 1.5 mm² and 100 m for
2.5 mm².
• No changes may be made to the engine and gen-
erator settings.
