2.7.2. Securing the system against being switched on again
1. Shut down the goods issuing system, disconnect it from the power supply and

check that it is electrically dead.
2. Secure the hazard area around the goods issuing system, place clear warning
signs in position around the working area, and issue a prohibition against it be-
ing switched on again.

3. On completion of the work, reinstate the fuses and guards.
4. Check the guards and safety devices for correct operation, and remove the warn-
ing notice.

WARNING

Risk of fatal accidents, together with crush hazards, laceration hazards and impact
hazards for the body and limbs.
» Transport work must be performed by trained persons who have been instructed
in the safety aspects of hoists and transport work.
» Use only tested means of transport, lifting gear and slings that are suitable for the
weight and size of the item to be transported.
» Do not enter under suspended loads or reach under them or into their range of
swinging.
» Be aware of the position of the centre of gravity of the device.
» Do not run lifting gear such as ropes and straps across sharp edges and corners.
Do not knot them, do not twist them.
» Check that the attachment of the lifting gear is secure.
» Move loads only under proper supervision. Before you leave the workplace, first
set down the load.
CAUTION
Risk of injury during transport
Risk of injury from improper transport to installation site.
» Wear foot protection, safety gloves and safety helmet.
» Do not transport alone.
» Make sure the paths for movement and transport are clear.
» If features, release parking brake on castors and apply before work.
» Transport with drawers and doors closed, locked and additionally secured.

» Handle items of packaging in accordance with the symbols and instructions

shown on them.

» Do not drag them across the floor.

» When items of packaging are being transported they must be upright, secured
with ropes and protected against slipping.

» Be aware of the centre of gravity.

» Use the lifting points provided.
» When putting them down, do so slowly and evenly.

» Do not remove the transport packaging until immediately before erection.

» Once the device has been erected at the place of erection, remove the transport

restraints.
4.1. LIST OF SYMBOLS
Symbol Meaning
Keep items of packaging dry and protect them from moisture.
Items of packaging with fragile or delicate contents. Handle them
with care, do not drop them, do not subject them to impacts.
Arrows facing upwards indicate the top of the item of packaging
and must always point upwards in order that the contents do not
suffer damage.
Do not stack packages.

4.3. TRANSPORT TO THE PLACE OF ERECTION
ü Prepare all the connection points at the final place of erection.
ü The floor must have sufficient load-bearing capacity.
ü Forklift truck or pallet truck rated for the weight of the item of packaging.
ü The ambient conditions At the place of erection must be correct.

2. Remove the base fascia.
3. Drive the forklift truck forwards between the support pads of the goods issuing
system until they project beyond the far side.
» Be aware of the position of the centre of gravity of the goods issuing system.
4. Lift the goods issuing system from the pallet.
5. Transport the goods issuing system to its final place of erection.
6. Carefully lower the forks and withdraw them.
4.4. REMOVING THE PACKAGING
B
1. Remove the film packaging around the wooden frame; carefully dismantle the
transport frame.
2. Remove four to six screws from each side.
3. Take separately packed components off the pallet.
