TABLE OF CONTENTS
7.20 ERROR NOTIFICATIONS
There can be two types of errors:
•
Errors - data transmission between sensors - Para. 7.20.1
•
Angle measurement errors on the horizontal plane - Para. 7.20.2
The "battery low" condition may also be indicated - Para. 3.8.3.
7.20.1
Data transmission error between sensors
This means there is a transmission/reception error due to one or more of the following problems:
•
The infrared transceivers of the sensors are not working.
•
There is a radio fault or interference in the transmission system.
•
There is an obstacle (e.g. vehicle door open) between the front and rear sensors.
Note: The rear sensors are not directly communicating with the cab: their data is transmitted/received via the front sensors, therefore
if a front sensor is not working properly it will be impossible to transmit the data of the corresponding rear sensor, even if it is working
properly.
If the cause of the malfunction is removed (e.g. the vehicle door is closed) the error page immediately disappears and the measurements
page re-appears on the screen. If the problem persists, the hardware needs to be checked. To do this, contact technical assistance.
During data transmission/reception between the measuring heads and the Tablet, or during angle
measuring (for example, during adjustment), this "Caution" symbol may appear, indicating an error
condition.
Tap the "Caution" icon to view the details of the detected error.
