7.19 FRONT AXLE SPOILER PROCEDURE
When aligning and levelling the sensors (Para. 7.9), a vehicle, equipped with a front spoiler, may prevent the front sensors from
measuring the toe-in transducers on the end of the arm (Para. 3.8).
If measurements are prevented, the problem is automatically detected and managed by the program, which displays the following
page:
Attention: The Spoiler procedure is sometimes required when there is no obstacle between the front sensors, but they are unable to
measure because the values are outside the maximum range of ±2.50°.
E.g.: the vehicle is damaged and no pre-adjustment was made.
In this case:
Record the front toe-in
values as close to 0° as
possible.
In the following figure, the arrow indicates that it is necessary to unlock the front left sensor and lower it enough so that the transducer

Tap "YES" to start the Spoiler procedure.
Tap this key to display a page where the toe-in angle indications are shown.
Once valid values have been reached (<2.5°), tap this key; the alignment phase is repeated (Para. 7.9),
then, if the Spoiler procedure is not necessary, the program will proceed to the next step (Para. 7.10).
