RUN-OUT

The run-out procedure is carried out to compensate for any decentring between the plane passing through the wheel and the one
that is actually measured.
7.7.1

Push run-out with automatic acquisition

UNLOCK the sensors by means of the dedicated knob (Ref. 7 - Para. 3.8) to allow the vehicle to move with the sensors free to rotate.
Start moving the vehicle backwards, very slowly, until the arrow of the vehicle matches the arrival point.
Wait for the sensors to
stop oscillating
The vehicle matches
the arrival point
As soon as the vehicle matches the arrival point, wait for the sensors to stop oscillating; "STOP" is displayed for about three seconds,
i.e. the time it takes for the program to acquire the measurements. Then the program will display the following page:
NOTE: this key can nonetheless be used to skip this procedure, when required.
