18. Troubleshooting
The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your machine failing
to work properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.
Electrical maintenance work may only be carried out by a qualified electrician!

The saw does not brake when
switching the machine off

Remedy
Have the brake system checked and,
if necessary, replaced by a specialist
workshop.
Tighten the fixing nut (Attention: right-
hand thread)
Arrange for inspection of the engine by a
specialist workshop.
Sharpen saw blade or replace it if
necessary
Replace saw blade
Change direction of rotation with phase
inverter / Have an electrician change the
polarity of the wall plug.
