residual current monitoring device is based on the
example cited therein, standard IEC 62955. The DC
residual current monitoring device, however, is not
a standalone device in accordance with IEC 62955.

jectives of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

Transporting the product

ATTENTION
Material damage due to improper transportation
Collisions and impacts may damage the product.
u Avoid collisions and impacts.
u Transport the product to the place of installa-
tion in the packed condition.
u Do not use bolts for fastening the front panel as
a transport aid or handle.
u Set the product down on a soft base.

Opening the product

The tasks described in this section may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.

In the delivery state, the top section of the hous-
ing (1) is not attached with screws. The screws (2)
are included in the delivery contents.
u Unscrew screws (2) if necessary.
u Remove the top section of the housing (1).
u Unscrew screws (4) and swing the front
panel (3) downward.

Installing the product on the wall

5.5.1 Providing drilled holes

ATTENTION
Material damage due to uneven surface
Installing on an uneven surface can cause the hous-
ing to go out of shape, so that the protection class
is no longer guaranteed. Consequential damage of
electronic components can occur.
u Only install the product on an even surface.
u If necessary, level out uneven surfaces with
suitable measures.
MENNEKES recommends installing at an er-
gonomically sensible height depending on
the height of the body.
ATTENTION
Material damage due to drilling dust
Consequential damage of electronic components
can occur if drilling dust gets into the product.
u Make sure that drilling dust does not get into
the product.
u Do not use the product as a drilling template
and do not drill through the product.
