L.U.C STRIKE ONE
The L.U.C Strike One is captivating
both for its design and functionality. It
is equipped with a sapphire gong that
chimes every hour on the hour. This pat
ented gong was inspired by the L.U.C
Full Strike, Chopard's first revolution
ary minute repeater, and symbolises
Chopard's watchmaking creativity. This
astonishing mechanism can be admired
through an aperture at 1 o'clock. After
a long series of fine adjustments, the
masterwatchmakers at Chopard
succeeded in producing a pure, crystal
clear sound. The L.U.C Strike One is a
watch for connoisseurs who appreciate
the prestige of listening to the delicate
sound of time, expressed simply and
in the purest of forms. The L.U.C Strike
One model houses a new selfwinding
mechanical movement named the
L.U.C 96.32L. This chronometer move
ment has been certified by the COSC,
bears the highly coveted Poinçon de
Genève hallmark and features two
stacked barrels (Chopard Twin tech
nology). The movements of your wrist
become the key factor in winding your
watch. When fully wound, it has a power
reserve of 65 hours. If the watch stops,

DISTINCTIVE FEATURES
Water-resistance
Each time the crown is handled, it must
be pushed back in to position 1 to guar
antee the watch's waterresistance. No
timesetting operations must be per
formed in a liquid (such as water) under
any circumstances, as this risks dam
aging the movement.
Movement
The movement of your watch requires
particular care. In order to guarantee its
performance, it must be serviced regu
larly by an official Chopard retailer.
Straps
Leather or fabric straps deteriorate rap
idly if they come into contact with liquids
or cosmetic products (soaps, fragrances,
creams). If your strap is exposed to any
of these substances, we recommend
dabbing it with a soft cloth and leaving it
to dry well away from sources of heat or
light. We also recommend avoiding pro
longed exposure to light or heat, which
could result in the premature fading of the
colour of your strap.
