This appliance may only be installed, earthed and
commissioned by a certified electrician
in accordance with the applicable regulations
and standards.
  Caution!
Risk of injury!
The edges of the appliance may be sharp.
Protect yourself from injuries, e.g. by wearing

Before installation
• Remove all packaging materials from the appliance and
from the cooking chamber and keep them out of reach
of children and pets.

7.1 Installation requirements

• The installation must comply with all distance regulati-
ons and other applicable regulations.
• An easily accessible, tested isolating switch (fuse)
must be provided in the fixed wiring, which guarantees
complete isolation from the power supply.
• The kitchen must be dry and have effective ventilation
in accordance with current regulations.
• The wall behind the oven and above the cooking surface,
adjacent and surrounding surfaces, as well as adhesives
used must be heat resistant up to 100°C to prevent de-
formation of the surfaces or delamination of the coating.
If you are unsure about this, allow at least 2 cm of free
space around the appliance.
• Use easy to clean surfaces (e.g. tiles) as wall surfaces
around the cooking area.
• The worktop in which the cooktop is to be installed
must meet all the requirements for installation (see
chapter on installing the cooktop) and nothing must
protrude into the cooking area.
• Only one side of the appliance may be installed next to
a higher piece of furniture or a wall.
• The appliance must not be installed directly next to
refrigerators or freezers as the escaping heat would lead
to unnecessarily high energy consumption.
• Once the hob has been installed, proper heat emission
must be guaranteed to ensure proper functioning.
• Make sure that the stand space is level and horizontal
and guarantees a high degree of stability.

Ventilation and safety distances

met to ensure adequate ventilation of the appliance and

the hob to wall units, shelves etc. hanging above it.
• The safety distance between the bottom of the hob
and the oven must be at least 50 mm.
