3. Using the Hob

3.1 Suitable cookware and its use

• Only use glass-ceramic suitable cookware
with a temperature resistance of up to 200°C.
• Only use pots and pans with a smooth, even bottom
without bulges that sits flat on the glass.
• Make sure that the base has no sharp edges or burrs.
• Choose a cooking dish that, if possible, is the same
size as the cooking zone you want to use.
• Always centre the dishes on the cooking zone.
• Do not use leaking cookware.
• Always remove spilled liquids or moisture immediately
from the cookware and the cooking surface.
• Do not slide or push the cookware back and forth, but
lift it off the cooking surface.
• Always switch off cooking zones that are not used
for cooking anymore.

3.2 Before cooking

• Before you start cooking, place your food in suitable
cookware and place it in the middle of the desired
cooking zone, as described above.
Attention!

Risk of damage and malfunction!
For example, grains of sand that remain at the
bottom of the pot after peeling the potatoes
or similar can damage the glass ceramic.
Make sure that the bottom of the cookware
and the cooking surface are clean and dry.
