Instructions for Use
Bipolar Sealing System marSeal 5 with sterile blade holder
NOTICE
Risk of fracture or blunting of the blade!
Make sure that the blade never comes into contact with hard objects.
•
Carry out the following functional checks before application:
Visual check for potential damage (check for cracks, fractures or deformation):

— Handle (8)
— Rotating wheel (5)
— Tubular shaft (2)
— Insulation of the connection cable (9)
Check for easy movement of all components, especially:
•
— Jaw part (1) on the tubular shaft
— Blade holder
— Rotating wheel (5) of the tubular shaft
Test the mechanical function before starting the surgery:
•
— Opening, closing, locking and unlocking of the jaw part (1) using the movable
handle (7)
— Movement of the integrated blade using the trigger (6)
Test the electric function before starting the surgery:
•
— e.g. on a sterile swab soaked in NaCl solution
