4.3 Sealing
Using the rotating wheel (5), rotate the jaw part (1) of the tubular shaft to an
•
ergonomically optimal position.
Then grasp the tissue to be treated with the jaw part (1).
•
Close the handle (7) until the integrated ratchet locks audibly.
•
Activate sealing current. The electrosurgery unit maxium
•
automatically and confirms this acoustically. This shuts down the current automatically
before carbonization of the tissue can occur.
By actuation of the blade trigger (6) the integrated blade is pushed through the tubular
•
shaft (2) and jaw part (1), and the sealed tissue is cut.
The unlocking mechanism of the jaw part can be released by pressing the movable
•
handle (7) again.
