Before connecting, set the POWER switch to
OFF.

Make sure that the AC VOLTAGE selector on
the supplied AC adaptor is set correctly. (AC-
746K, E only)

Connect the supplied AC adaptor to the DC
7.4V jack and to a wail outlet.
Note
Disconnect the AC adaptor from the wail outlet
when you will not use the unit for a long period of
time.
Notes on AC adaptor
AC-744 is used for the AH model.
AC-746U is used for the AU model.
AC-748E is used for the AEE and AE models.
AC-746K, E has an AC VOLTAGE selector at
the bottom. Set it with a screwdriver or a similar
object according to your local voltage.
AC-746K is used for the AK model. Attach a
plug (see instructions on the cover of this
manual) and insert it into a wall outlet.
AC-746E is used for the AZ model.
Auto-power-off function
ifthe recorder is not operated for about 5 minutes,
the power is automatically turned off. To turn on
the power, set the POWER switch to ON after
setting it to OFF.
The auto-power-off function works when the
recorder is operated either on the battery or with
the AC adaptor.

Stellen Sie vor dem AnschlieBenden POWER-
Schalter auf OFF.
Achten Sie darauf, da8 der Spannungswahler
(AC
VOLTAGE)
des
mitgelieferten
Netzadapters richtig eingestellt ist (nur bei AC-
746K, E).
SchlieBen Sie den mitgelieferten Netzadapter
an
die DC
7,4 V-Buchse
und
an
die
Wandsteckdose an.
Hinweis
Wenn das Gerat langere Zeit nicht verwendet
wird, trennen
Sie den
Netzadapter
von
der
Wandsteckdose ab.
Hinweise zum Netzadapter
Der AC-744 ist fir das Modell AH bestimmt.
Der AC-746U ist fur das Modell AU bestimmt.
Der AC-748E ist fur die Modelle AEE und AE
bestimmt.
Der AC-746K, E besitzt an der Unterseite einen
Spannungswahler
(AC VOLTAGE),
der mit
einem Schraubenzieher o.a. auf die drtliche
Netzspannung einzustellen ist.
Der AC-746K ist flr das Modell AK bestimmt.
Bringen
Sie
einen
Stecker
an
(siehe
Anweisungen
auf der Umschlagseite
der
Anleitung)
und
stecken
Sie ihn
in eine
Wandsteckdose.
Der AC-746E ist fiir das Modell AZ bestimmt.
Abschaltautomatik
Wenn der Recorder mehr als finf Minuten nicht
betrieben wird, schaltet er sich automatisch aus.
Soll er in einem solchen Fail weiter betrieben
werden, schalten Sie den
POWER-Schaiter einmal
auf OFF und dann wieder auf ON.
Die Abschaltautomatik arbeitet sowohl bei Batterie-
als auch bei Netzbetrieb.

Avant d'effectuer le branchement,

Raccorder l''adaptateur secteur fourni sur la
prise DC 7,4V et sur une prise secteur.
Remarque
Débrancher |'adaptateur secteur au niveau de la
prise secteur quand on prévoit une longue période
d'inutilisation de l'appareil.

L'AC-744 est utilisé pour le modéle AH.
L'AC-746U est utilisé pour le modéle AU.
L'AC-748E est utilisé pour les modeles AEE et
AE.
L'AC-746K, E a un sélecteur de tension AC
VOLTAGE
sur le socle. Le régier avec un
tournevis ou un objet similaire selon !a tension
locale.
L'AC-746K est utilisé pourle modéle AK. Installer
une fiche (voir instructions sur la couverture de
ce manuel) et 'insérer dans une prise murale.
L'AC-746E est utilisé pour le modeéle AZ.
Fonction de mise hors tension automatique
Si l'appareil n'est pas utilisé pendant 5 minutes
environ, son alimentation est automatiquement
coupée. Pour le remettre sous tension, ramener
d'abord l'interrupteur POWER sur OFF, puis sur
ON.
La fonction de mise hors tension automatique est
operationnelle quand l'appareil fonctionne avecia
batterie ou avec |'adaptateur secteur.
